“Handcrafted Christmas Ornaments”

Our
Fair has always celebrated arts and crafts each
year by recognizing special
and
talented artists. We would like to revisit one
of our first contests-
Christmas Ornaments- as we continue this
tradition.
Ornaments may be hand crafted from items such
as: wood, glass, clay,
porcelain, beading, crochet, quilted, recycled,
etc.
Use
your imagination to create any ornaments that
appeal to you.
Ornaments will be judged from a Christmas tree,
so help us fill our tree.
PRIZES
First
Prize - $ 100 and a rosette
Second Prize - $ 50 and a rosette
Third
Prize - $ 25 and a rosette
JUDGING CRITERIA:
Appearance- 30 points
(color and design)
Workmanship- 50 points
Originality- 20 points
RULES:
1. Contest is open to all crafters.
2. Ornaments must be new or like new condition.
3. Entries will be accepted from 9 to 12 on
Saturday, November 7th.
4. A qualified judge will be used and his/her
decision will be final. Judging will begin at
12:30. Winners will be announced at 2:00.
Ornaments may be picked up following the
contest.
5. Contestants
may bring up to three ornaments, but only one
prize per contestant will be awarded.
